Key States
Across America coal and mineral mining operations support almost 1.5 million jobs. American mining helps thousands of communities stay vibrant by providing high-paying jobs and revenues used to build roads and keep schools open.
Minerals are the foundation for the lives of Americans from every state, industry and background. As supporters of U.S. mining we each have a voice that must be heard.

Protect America's Economy and oppose EPA's "Train Wreck" Regulations
At a time of economic uncertainty for our nation, Illinois' extraordinary reserves of coal are more critical than ever before - especially as a source of abundant, low-cost electricity capable of powering and sustaining a robust, long-term recovery. And because of Illinois' massive share in our nation's coal production, these EPA mandates threaten to increases the cost of electricity across the country, further hindering our nation’s economic growth.
Collectively, it's called the EPA "Train Wreck" - and it's right around the bend. Together, we need to oppose these regulations and urge our representatives to do the same.
